Loved having Sarah as our celebrant for our wedding back in November!
She tailored our ceremony to be short sweet and oh so unique! She totally got our vibes, and when my dress strap fell apart rolled with the chaos to finish the ceremony with a flourish. She was so good we recommended her to one of our bridesmaids & groomsmen who went on to use her for their wedding too!

Sarah Bernstone was our wedding celebrant for our wedding and what’s more amazing is she was stepping in for our celebrant that caught covid19 the week of our wedding.
Sarah immediately made contact with us and introduced herself, she is a very warm and caring person. Sarah travelled to our wedding venue with short notice to do our wedding rehearsal and was an absolute gem to work with. She worked alongside our original celebrant to ensure we were comfortable with everything and I am so glad she was there on our day. We felt safe knowing she understood our cultural needs as we had a Tongan/ Māori wedding. Our guests also commented on her confidence and her ability to have a good time. I fully recommend Sarah for her professionalism and her beautiful spirit. Thank you Sarah you made our day so special.

Had a fantastic experience using Sarah Bernstone as celebrant for a wedding in Auckland this weekend. A perfect match for the lovely couple and all aspects of the ceremony were brilliantly simple, intimate and relatable. A perfect day

Sarah Bernstone made our wedding ceremony a wonderful experience and set the whole tone of what was our perfect day, getting married outdoors on the beach.
She is warm and friendly and made a huge effort to get to know our story and guided us through the process to create the ceremony we wanted. She made our guests feel part of the ceremony rather than spectators, accommodating our friends and family involved with readings and prayers.
She has a real eye for the details and provided a very professional service.
We cannot recommend her highly enough.

Thank you so much, Sarah, for being our celebrant. You worked closely with us to develop the perfect ceremony. We really appreciated the extra time and care you took to listen and suggest ideas, and even visit the venue with us. You integrated everyone into the ceremony in a warm and friendly way, and added touches of humour and reflection that made it memorable. Heartfelt thanks!

Former manager at 2degrees
I have known and worked with Sarah since she applied for a reception role at 2degrees some ten years ago. I was the EA to the CEO and the Administration Manager for the business. During her interview I was immediately impressed by her warm personality, maturity and significant life experiences. I believe these characteristics would make her an excellent marriage celebrant. I have no doubt that couples would find her easy to deal with. She is a good listener and they would feel confident she would understand what they want for their big day and do the job well. She has a great way with words and a gentle sense of humour
that would have her couples smiling.

Sarah is an exceptional communicator, incredible organiser with an eye on detail and a creative flair. Being an extremely organised and skill organiser and planner will be a real strength in her celebrant role. I have seen this in her work on fundraisers, celebrations and many other occasions. Sarah’s high level of social intelligence makes her a suitable celebrant for any couple, including people from the LGBTQI community, any ethnic group and people with disabilities.
